That was a great video, thanks for the info, I am going to use that technique on my next half-square triangles!

Thanks, I like it a lot. One question though...are your two fabric strips just laying against one another without pinning? I think this is preferred to using the HST paper I had my daughter use with her first quilt project in 3rd grade. She didn't like pulling all the paper off.
Ooooh, I just *hate* pulling that paper out and distorting the stitches! This method *does* just have the fabrics layered, no pinning, just pressing the freezer paper to the wrong side of one of the fabrics. Personally, I would slip a pin into the ends of the fabrics, just for reassurance :)
