Spring in Seward, Alaska

Yes, this is spring in Alaska. See the pretty flowers; the sunshine? Me neither! LOL Someone please remind me why I live here?

If you look closely you can see Tan Bunny just to the right of the feeder that Tom built. It sits across the alley from his house, on Barb's property. She loves rabbits too, so she said it was okay to put the feeder there. Bunnies love her big trees :)

You live here so you can see your lovely granddaughter all the time! And so we can pass unfinished quilt projects back and forth. There's only one more month of this, then we get our spring. Just be glad you don't have any ash (yet)!

I have to say the same thing about Juneau. Still snowing. Are you getting effects from the volcano?

We have a sort of haze and the air tastes funny, if you know what I mean :) I know, it's a weird thing to say, but I walk to work and the post office daily and by the time I am done (it's just a few blocks) I feel like I need to go swimming in some chlorine to rinse my sinuses. Bleh. It's pretty mild though, compared to he last few eruptions, some years back. Then the sky turned dark (in summer!!) Now THAT was strange! ~Marguerita

Now I understand why you love so much to quilt. You can not go outside! You have no flowers and green trees to see through the windows! I live in Brazil, and can't be longer inside. The sun ever call me... And I lay down my quilt to go outside. And never end my quilt.
(sorry about my bad English).
